Return and Refund Policy

This Return and Refund Policy applies to BotExorcist digital products, licences, subscriptions, downloads, activations, updates, support access, dashboards, reports, PPC Integrity tools, crawler intelligence tools, firewall tools, and related digital services supplied by Clear Signal Intelligence (Pty) Ltd, trading as BotExorcist.

BotExorcist is digital software. There are no physical goods shipped, delivered, collected, exchanged, or returned.

By purchasing, downloading, activating, installing, accessing, or using BotExorcist, you agree to this Return and Refund Policy together with our Terms and Conditions.

1. Digital Product Delivery

BotExorcist is delivered digitally.

After purchase or licence activation, customers may receive access to one or more of the following:

software downloads;

licence keys;

licence activation services;

plugin updates;

support access;

dashboards;

reports;

PPC Integrity tools;

crawler intelligence tools;

firewall tools;

monitoring tools;

digital documentation;

and related digital services.

No physical product is shipped.

Shipping costs do not apply to BotExorcist digital products.

2. Lifetime Licence Refunds

Lifetime licence purchases may be refunded within 14 days of the purchase date, provided that the refund request is submitted within the 14-day refund period.

After the 14-day refund period has expired, lifetime licence purchases are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

A lifetime licence means access according to the licence terms attached to that product. It does not mean lifetime support, lifetime custom development, lifetime compatibility with every WordPress version, lifetime compatibility with every hosting environment, lifetime access to third-party services, or lifetime availability of every feature.

3. Subscription Refunds and Cancellations

Monthly, yearly, or recurring subscription payments are non-refundable for the current or any past billing period once charged, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

Customers may cancel a subscription to prevent future renewals.

Cancellation stops future billing but does not create a refund for the active billing period unless required by applicable law or expressly agreed by Clear Signal Intelligence (Pty) Ltd in writing.

Where a subscription, fixed-term agreement, recurring plan, or renewal arrangement is subject to mandatory cancellation rights under applicable law, the customer remains responsible for any amount lawfully owed up to the effective date of cancellation, and Clear Signal Intelligence (Pty) Ltd may apply any lawful and reasonable cancellation charge, usage charge, access charge, administrative charge, or deduction permitted by law.

4. Immediate Digital Access

By purchasing, downloading, activating, installing, accessing, or using BotExorcist, you request and consent to immediate access to the digital software, licence services, downloads, activations, updates, dashboards, firewall features, monitoring tools, PPC Integrity tools, reports, support systems, and related digital services.

Where applicable law allows, you acknowledge that once digital access has been provided, services have begun, licence access has been activated, or software has been downloaded, installed, activated, or used, any cancellation, cooling-off, or refund right may be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

5. No Physical Returns

BotExorcist is not a physical product.

There are no physical returns, shipping returns, courier returns, product collections, exchanges, replacement shipments, or return deliveries.

If a refund is approved, the return process is handled digitally by cancelling, disabling, suspending, or revoking the applicable licence key, activations, support access, downloads, updates, dashboards, paid features, and connected services.

6. No Refunds for Misconfiguration or Expected Results

Refunds are not provided for:

change of mind after the 14-day refund period has expired;

failure to use the product;

failure to install the product correctly;

failure to configure the product correctly;

misunderstanding of product features;

website conflicts;

hosting conflicts;

server conflicts;

theme conflicts;

plugin conflicts;

cache conflicts;

CDN conflicts;

analytics conflicts;

third-party platform conflicts;

losses caused by misconfiguration;

client disputes;

advertising disputes;

SEO ranking changes;

PPC refund refusal by advertising platforms;

search engine behaviour;

crawler behaviour;

or results that differ from the customer’s expectations.

BotExorcist is a powerful defensive, diagnostic, monitoring, reporting, and evidentiary tool. Customers are responsible for installing, configuring, testing, monitoring, and using it correctly.

7. Free, Trial, Beta, Discounted, and Promotional Licences

Free, trial, beta, discounted, promotional, testing, or no-cost licences are not refundable because no standard paid amount was charged, unless a refund is required by applicable law.

Clear Signal Intelligence (Pty) Ltd may change, limit, withdraw, suspend, or discontinue free, trial, beta, discounted, promotional, or testing access at any time.

8. Misuse, Breach, and Licence Abuse

Clear Signal Intelligence (Pty) Ltd may refuse a refund, cancellation request, credit, licence transfer, or continued access where the customer has:

shared BotExorcist unlawfully;

resold BotExorcist unlawfully;

sublicensed BotExorcist unlawfully;

nulled, cracked, bypassed, reverse engineered, copied, redistributed, or modified BotExorcist unlawfully;

used false information;

breached the Terms and Conditions;

abused support;

used the product unlawfully;

used the product on websites they do not control;

attempted licence circumvention;

initiated chargeback abuse;

or damaged our systems, product, business, customers, reputation, payment systems, or licence infrastructure.

9. Effect of an Approved Refund

If a refund is required by law or approved by Clear Signal Intelligence (Pty) Ltd in writing, the related licence key, activations, support access, updates, dashboards, paid features, downloads, and connected services may be cancelled, suspended, revoked, or disabled.

The customer must immediately stop using the refunded product and must remove BotExorcist from all websites where the refunded licence was used, unless otherwise agreed by Clear Signal Intelligence (Pty) Ltd in writing.

10. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us within the applicable refund period using the billing or support contact details below.

Your refund request should include:

your name or business name;

the email address used for purchase;

the order number or invoice number;

the licence type purchased;

the purchase date;

and the reason for the refund request.

Refund requests must be submitted within the applicable refund period. Sending a request after the refund period has expired does not create a refund right unless a refund is required by applicable law.

11. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will normally be processed back to the original payment method where possible.

Refund processing times may depend on the payment processor, bank, card network, or payment gateway.

Clear Signal Intelligence (Pty) Ltd is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment processors, card networks, gateways, or third-party payment providers.

12. Non-Excludable Rights

Nothing in this Return and Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or limits any consumer right, warranty, remedy, cooling-off right, refund right, cancellation right, chargeback right, or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or limited.

Where applicable law gives a customer a refund, cancellation, cooling-off, or chargeback right that cannot be excluded, Clear Signal Intelligence (Pty) Ltd will honour that right only to the minimum extent required by law.
